What is LAMDA?
The London Academy of Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) was the first of its kind to be founded in 1861 and has been offering examinations for the public since the 1880’s. It is now one of the most prestigious drama schools in the world, and its examinations now carry more weight than ever. Not only do they provide any budding actor with the skills needed to take their talent further, but the higher graded exams now give the learners UCAS points akin to taking another AS level.
